In 1989 SCOHSG and South Cumbria IOSH District (now Branch) Committees agreed to hold joint meetings as a way of providing added value for their members with opportunities for networking and an opportunity for members of small and medium sized companies to receive informal advice from qualified H & S professionals.

IOSH members can attend these joint meetings (at no extra cost), as part of their IOSH subscription but, if they arrange for their company to subscribe to SCOHSG this entitles the company to send more than one representative  to meetings for training on relevant topics. IOSH membership only entitles the IOSH member to attend joint meetings.
