A unique opportunity to hear two eminent speakers with a wealth of knowledge about health and safety law!
Ian Whitehurst, Barrister, Chambers and Partners, described as “…a real fighter who makes incisive legal points…”.
Ian will draw on his expertise and use recent health & safety cases to highlight the failings incurred.
He is a leading financial crime, crime and regulatory barrister. As a member of the Regulatory Panel of Counsel he prosecutes and defends, in equal measure, mainly concentrating on health and safety, environmental and information law. He also acts for the General Medical Council in disciplinary tribunals.

She will discuss the employment implications when a transport business is affected by Health and Safety prosecutions and the steps that need to be taken to ensure the correct approach
