What you should be expecting to see from your scaffolder.
February 21 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Speaker: Mark Clarke, Managing Director, Clarke Health & Safety Consultants Limited
Mark has over 40 years’ experience in the scaffolding construction industry. He began his career as a scaffolder where he developed an interest in the health and safety of scaffolders while working for Shell Stanlow. In 1994 Mark became Health and Safety Adviser for one of the UKs largest scaffolding contractors. He was appointed to manage scaffolding/painting and asbestos operations within the nuclear industry and the petrochemical industry across the UK. Mark is also co-author of NASC’s SG4:00 and SG4:05.
His presentation will focus on key things that project managers should expect their scaffolding providers to do and ways of ensuring that scaffolding is safe, suitable and sufficient, for the duration of building and/or refurbishment projects.
