  • Information about asbestos minerals.
  • History of asbestos use in construction.
  • Asbestos related diseases.
  • UK asbestos regulations including the Control of Asbestos Regulations, 2012.
  • Employers’ legal duty to identify, risk assess and manage workplace asbestos.
  • Management of asbestos workplace plans and the removal of workplace asbestos.

The session included interactive questions and answers with members contributing their experiences of asbestos management to the discussion.
