Legionella Management, where it can go wrong?

February 15 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Speaker: Adrian Parris, Chemical Safety Manager, Sellafield Ltd

About the session

Adrian’s presentation will use a series of case studies to highlight gaps in legionella management in risk assessments, system monitoring, written schemes and in contractor management. He will focus on what went wrong and explain what good Legionella Management looks like.

About Adrian

Adrian is a Chartered Fellow Occupational Hygienist and Chemical Safety Manager at Sellafield Ltd. He has previously worked in the steel and chemical sectors. He sits on the board of trustees of the British Occupational Hygiene Society, chairs exam panels for occupational hygienists wishing to become certified or chartered, and co-chairs BOHS Breathe Freely in Manufacturing campaign.

Adrian is keen to ensure that workplace health management systems safeguard employees’ current and future health and that employees and managers understand the importance of adopting ‘best practice’ in workplace hygiene.
